JIMMY SCHEEL
LeeRoy and Cathy Scheel started Scheel Water Pump Service in 1968 in Comal County. LeeRoy worked in the water well industry for 29 years, then sold the company to his niece and nephew in 1997, Korri and Jimmy Stevens.
Jimmy and Korri Stevens began as Scheel Water Pump Service in February of 1997, as a one man service business. They ran the entire operation from their home in La Vernia, Texas. Once their two sons, Kaden and Kody, were old enough to turn pipe wrenches, they were Jimmy’s right hand men and started working with their father during the summer and winter breaks.
The company remained a “mom and pop” operation until November of 2013. After years of training alongside their father, Kody and Kaden were ready to become full time employees. They purchased a drilling rig and changed the name of the business to Stevens Drilling and Water Well Service. Over the years the company has been able to grow and hire additional full time staff. Kaden and. Kody have taken over the management of the business and became the owners in January of 2014.
As Stevens Drilling moves forward our hope and prayer is to be the servants God sent us here to be, and provide all those we meet with the right example. As a Christian based company, we hold ourselves to higher standards. We work to serve the Lord. Our prayers is that the work of our hands will be a blessing to all who we come into contact with.
